Wolfgate, a Los Angeles Symphonic Black Metal Band, was established originally in the mid-2000s after Dommiel, Perkunas and Sloarch got sick of playing with different bands and decided to start Wolfgate with their own personal sounds. After our second song was written Perkunas moved out of state and was forced to leave Wolfgate. Despite the absence of our drummer, Wolfgate continued on writing music until Dommiel contacted Lord Mattias to drum for Wolfgate. After several vocal auditions with no luck, we decided to keep the vocals within the band. Sloarch and Lord Mattias took over the vocals, thereafter. Mike played bass for Wolfgate, but unfortunately decided to leave the band due to personal circumstances. When Wolfgate finished writing the songs to be recorded on Howling Lament, Magus Demericus joined the band as bassist. Wolfgate is currently composing new songs for the second album, to be announced, as well as, playing for concerts in the Los Angeles area.
